Book Cover Design Concept of the Day: “Harry’s Tale” by Michela Monterosso.
Not unlike myself, Michela began reading the Harry Potter books because she just couldn’t figure out what the big deal was. As much as she found herself enjoying the series, she couldn’t help but be embarrassed to be seen in public carrying paperbacks with such juvenile exteriors:
I wished these book covers could be more “contemporary”, for a young yet adult public. In making these graphics I tried to show the magical and mysterious feeling of the story, keeping in mind crucial figures and events.
So much better, don’t you think?
